Becoming a member of the MAPPS

Membership of the MAPPS is open to public with a degree holder in any agricultural field and anyone who is interested in plant protection industry. By joining MAPPS, you gain instant support from well-known society where the main goal of MAPPS is to advance the interests of the plant protection industry.

There are various categories of membership. These categories are life members, ordinary members and associate members. The criteria required for membership application entry to the society is one must be endorsed by the current members who still actively involved in MAPPS activities and event.

Ordinary membership is open to persons actively engaged in plant protection (proposed and seconded by members) with one of these basic qualification:

  • a basic degree in science or agriculture or equivalent,
  • a diploma in agriculture or equivalent with at least 5 years experience in plant protection, pesticide industry or plantation industry.

Currently the entrance fee is RM 50 and the annual subscription is RM 60. To apply for MAPPS membership please download the application form.
