We would like to invite you to present your valuable research paper at the 11th International Conference on Plant Protection in the Tropics (11th ICPPT) from 14 – 15 September 2022, at Aloft Langkawi Pantai Tengah, Langkawi, Kedah, Malaysia organized by MALAYSIAN PLANT PROTECTION SOCIETY (MAPPS). As host, it is hoped that you can give strong support in attending this conference. 

The 11th  ICPPT with the theme Treasuring the Present, Sustaining the Future will focus on developments in the science of plant protection and discuss challenges faced by researchers, practitioners, and consumers on problems related to plant protection. We are pleased to inform that the Asian-Pacific Weed Science Society (APWSS) and Malaysian Plant Protection Society (MAPPS) will organize  the 27th Asian-Pacific Weed Science Society Conference 2019 (27th APWSS) which will be held from September 3-6, 2019 at the Riverside Majestic Hotel, Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia.

Therefore, it is a great pleasure to invite you to participate in this conference. MAPPS Education Thrust Fund (ETF)

MAPPS is organizing the International Conference on Plant Protection in the Tropics (9thICPPT) which will be held on 3rd -5th August 2016, at the Hilton Hotel, Kuching, Sarawak. The conference aims to promote scientific work on plant protection in Malaysia, to encourage young scientists to develop and share their work on plant protection, and to foster networking of plant protectionists.

MAPPS ETF is seeking 10 local students who are the best and brightest in their field to attend and present a paper at the 9thICPPT in Kuching, Sarawak. MAPPS ETF will cover the conference fee, RM650.00. The sponsored students will be helping the Organizing Committee in running the presentation sessions and registration during the conference.

STATUS: OPEN
DEADLINE: June 30, 2016 at Noon.
AWARD: RM650 (Conference fee will be waived)
NOTIFICATIONS: July 2016

Eligibility
All local students planning to give an oral or poster presentation at the next 9thICPPT are eligible to apply.

Application Requirements

Extended Abstract
Applications must be submitted to 9thicppt@gmail.com (Subject e-mail: MAPPS-ETF Sponsorship 9thICPPT 2016). Please state applicant’s name, name of the university, institute and the mailing address. Submissions must include a copy of the extended abstract to be presented at the 9thICPPT. The deadlines listed above are strictly enforced and no late applications will be considered.
